Greetings from Hyderabad, India!

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of IAPCON 2026, it is our proud privilege to invite you to the 33rd Annual International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC). The conference has grown from strength to strength since inception in 1994

The theme of the conference, "Continuum of Care: Hospital, Hospice, and Home," resonates with the importance of ensuring seamless and comprehensive care for patients across all stages of their healthcare journey, emphasizing collaboration and holistic support in diverse care settings.

This prestigious conference is being organized by Sparsh Hospice – Centre for Palliative Care and Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute at the National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (NI-MSME), Hyderabad, from 13th to 15th February 2026. The pre-conference workshops are scheduled to be held on 12th February, 2026.

Let us come together to discuss, share, and build upon innovative approaches to providing seamless and holistic palliative care across hospital, hospice, and home settings. This conference aims to strengthen the palliative care network and elevate its integration into the healthcare system of the nation.

The event will feature an exciting academic and cultural lineup, including keynote addresses, orations, scientific sessions (oral and poster presentations), awards, workshops, and much more.

We eagerly look forward to welcoming you to the Pearl City, Hyderabad, known for its rich legacy of Nizami culture, delicious biryanis, historic sites, and peaceful ambiance.

About Hyderabad

Hyderabad is a former princely state of southern India that was centered in the state of Andhra Pradesh formerly.
Hyderabad was founded by the Nizam - Al- Mulk, who was the intermittently viceroy of the Deccan region that is the peninsular India, under the the dynasty of the great Mughals who were ruling India from the year 1713 to the year 1721 and they gained the post again under the title Asaf Jah in the year 1724.
Later, he became independent and started the dynasty of the Nizams (kings) of the city of Hyderabad. The British men and the French people also participated in the battles of succession that led to his death in the year 1748.

NI-MSME, the pioneer institute of MSME, is playing a transformational role in providing a pro-business environment to foster the progress of MSMEs. The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), established in 1962 in Hyderabad, Telangana, operates under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
